Emerson VCR872 - Connections

CONNECTIONS
AS ILLUSTRATED BELOW, NORMALLY THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF
ANTENNA CONNECTION TO YOUR TV SET. CHOOSE ONE WHICH IS THE
SAME AS YOURS.
1. Disconnect all antenna connections from the antenna terminals on your TV set.
2. Reconnect them to the VHF/UHF input jacks on the VCR.
3. Connect the VHF/UHF output jacks from the VCR to the antenna terminals on the TV set.

VHF ANTENNA IS USIN< 300 OHM FLAT CABLE
• CONNECT VHF
ANTENNA ADAPTOR
• CONNECT UHF CABLE
TO UHF IN TERMINAL
DIRECTLY
• A clear picture will not h n obtained by the VCR unless the antenna condition is good. Connect the
antenna on the VCR pro. irly.
• For better quality recording, an indoor antenna or a telescopic antenna is not recommended. The use
of an outdoor type antenna is required.
• If you are not sure about the connection, please refer to qualified service personnel.
As for "DUPLICATING A VIDEO TAPE ” . A'V CONNECTION" and "CATV CONNECTION ” , refer to
CONNECTIONS WITH OTHER EQUIPMENT page 30 and 31.
