PRECAUTIONS
MOISTURE
CONDENSATION
NOTE
Since
this
facility
cannot
immediately
evaporate
any
moisture
condensa
tion
that
might
be
present,
the
VCR
must
not
be
used
for
at
least
a
few
hours
after
plugging
in
to
an
AC
power
supply.
IF
THE
UNIT
IS
SUDDENLY
MOVED
FROM
A
COLD
PLACE
TO
A
WARM
PLACE,
DO
NOT
OPERATE
IT
FOR
A
FEW
HOURS.
WHAT
IS
MOISTURE
CONDENSATION?
When
cold
beer
is
poured
into
a
glass,
for
example,
water
vapour
in
the
air
will
condense
on
the
surface
of
the
glass.
This
is
called
moisture
condensation.
MOISTURE
CONDENSATION
DAMAGE
Moisture
condensation
on
the
head
drum,
one
of
the
most
crucial
parts
of
the
unit
will
cause
dam
age
to
the
tape.
MOISTURE
WILL
CONDENSE
ON
THE
UNIT
IN
THE
FOLLOWING
CASES;
When
you
move
it
from
a
cold
to
a
warm
place.
After
heating
a
cold
room
or
under
extremely
humid
conditions.
BUILT-IN
MOISTURE
CONDENSATION
PREVENTION
CIRCUIT;
This
unit
is
equipped
with
a
moisture
condensation
preven
tion
circuit
which
automatically
heats
the
head
drum
accord
ing
to
the
ambient
temperature.
This
circuit
operates
when
the
unit
is
plugged
into
an
AC
outlet
and
the
power
switch
is
set
to
ON.

video
cassette
player

sound
distortion
or
noise.
