k CONVENIENT USE OF THE COUNTER/TIMER

THE COUNTER/TIMER DIGIT DISPLAY HAS THREE OPERATING MODES:
1. Present time display.
2. Four digit numerical counter display.
3. Programmed recording time display.
PRESENT TIME DISPLAY
Press the COUNTER/TIMER SELECT BUTTON once for the present time display.
Press again for the counter display.

NOTE
The clock operates irrespective of the display position (CLOCK or COUNTER).
MEMORY REWIND
The memory rewind function provides a convenient method of rapidly returning the starting point of
recording or playback. The starting point can be indexed for any location on the tape by pressing the
COUNTER MEMORY button.
(f) Press the COUNTER/TIMER button to
select the counter display.
(2) Press the COUNTER RESET button to
set the counter to "0000", then press
the MEMORY button.
NOTE
The counter will be reset to "0000"
when the RESET button is pressed in
the counter mode.
(3) Start recording or playback.
(4) When recording is finished, press the
STOP button and then the REW button.
When playback is finished, press the
STOP button and then the REW button.
The tape will rewind to the around
"9995 ” position of the counter and stop.
NOTE
To review part of a tape, press the
RESET button at the beginning of the
required portion to set the counter to
"0000" and press the MEMORY button.
