fied service agency
and an annual system
check is recommended.
Electrical shock hazard Before re-
moving the access panels, make sure that
all power is disconnected from the unit.
Failure to do so could result in injury or
electric shock.
Clean the filter
EMI units are designed and constructed for
reliability and long life with minimal mainte-
nance. To insure peak operating eciency,
clean the lter as needed, following the pro-
cedure given here.
WARNING
The filter must be cleaned regularly
Allowing dust to collect on the lter will
result in reduction of air ow and cause the
unit to lose eciency. is condition will
cause the unit to malfunction.
Clean the lter monthly or when it is vis-
ibly dirty.
Li and remove the front grille (Figure 30, 1.
Page 34).
Open the two clips at the base of the lter. 2.
carefully pull the lter out. Place the lter
on a at surface (Figure 31, Page 34).

and vacuum all visible dirt (Figure 32,
Page 34).
