System Setup
This section of the manual describes how to set up and
confi gure Emme using the display touch screen. These
are the two steps to programming Emme:
1. Installation Setup (this should be completed at
the time of Emme installation by your HVAC
contractor)
Con guring User Settings2.
Installation Setup
Installation setup typically consists of the following:
• HVAC Confi guration (types of heating, cooling and
additional equipment connected to the Emme
Equipment Interface Panel/Master Unit)
Network Connection; both to your wireless router/WiFi •
network and to the Emme servers for Internet access
to your Emme System
Setting local weather•
Setting local time and date by time zone•
Naming your Emme (helpful if you have multiple
•
Emme Cores installed in the building)
Entering your dealer contact information•
These steps should be completed by the HVAC
professional who installed your Emme system. If you do
not wish to tell your HVAC professional your network
password, you can confi gure the network connection
yourself.
