SmartRecovery
SmartRecovery ensures your home or building is the correct
temperature following a setback. A setback occurs when a
heating setpoint is lowered or a cooling setpoint is raised in
order to reduce energy use. Setbacks are usually used when
the occupants are sleeping or the building is unoccupied.
To reach the correct temperature by the next transition,
Emme must start conditioning before that transition
occurs. Start too early and energy is wasted; start too late
and the home or building is uncomfortable. SmartRecovery
uses data such as: HVAC equipment type, number of stages,
setback, time till setback is scheduled, and the outside
temperature to determine the best time to start recovery.
This optimizes e ciency and comfort.
