9. AIR CONDITIONER MAINTENTANCE
9.8 Cleaning the filter
Do not operate the system without air filter to protect
the heat exchanger of the indoor unit against the risk of clogging.
TURN OFF the main switch before removing the filter.
When the "Filter" indicator lights up it is necessary to perform
the cleaning.
Press the emergency switch to reset the alarm signal
filter cleaning.
Remove the air filter according to the following steps.
Step 1
Open the air intake grille after pushing the two levers like
shown in the figure
Step 2
Remove the air filter from the air intake grille after having it
unhooked from the stops
Step 3
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the accumulated dust on the air filter
and / or wash it in a solution of neutral detergent and warm water.
Let it dry completely in the shade before reinserting it
in the indoor unit.
Step 4
Once the cleaning operations have been completed, reinsert the filter
and make sure that it is perfectly in place and locked by the stops.
Close the grill again
