(4) Operation of a character editor
An editor window is divided into an editor and a tool bar.
The editor is a part to display and edit a program. And a tool bar is composed of a storage button
,
a
combo box to change the storage object, a PLC Compile(exclusively for a PLC program)
button
, a string search button , a button to move a cursor to a specific column , and a print
button , whose functions are as follows.

: Can select an object(PC or MCU) to store the program.
- : Click this button to store the content of the editor into a selected storage object.
- : This is a button used to compile a PLC program stored in an MCU and appears in the tool
bar when a PLC program is edited and a physical object is selected as an MCU.
The PLC program directly reflects the compiled content on the I/O control after compilation.

: Click this button to find a specific string in a program on the editor.

: Click this button to move the cursor to a specific column in the program on the editor.
- : Select this button to print a program on the editor with a printer.
