Text descriptions
Each fire device can have its own text description programmed to the SmartCell control panel.
A clear text description will make the device easy to identify, in the event of a fire or fault.
An example is shown below:
Up to 40 characters of text can be added per device.
Text descriptions may be le as default text. Contact your installer/maintenance company for more
information.
An example is shown below:
Devices can also be allocated into system zones.
Zones are essentially areas of the building.
System zones
Zone 1 = ground floor
Zone 2 = first floor
