Commissioning Deltapilot M 4...20 mA HART
44 Endress+Hauser
The measured variables %, level, volume and mass are available for this level mode. See see
operating instructions "Unit before lin (025)".
8.5.5 "In height" level selection
Calibration with reference pressure (wet calibration)
Example:
In this example, the volume in a tank should be measured in liters. The maximum volume of
1000 liters (264 US gal) corresponds to a level of 4.5 m (15 ft). The minimum volume of 0 liters
corresponds to a level of 0.5 m (1.6 ft) since the device is mounted below the start of the level
measuring range.
The density of the medium is 1 g/cm
3
(1 SGU).
Prerequisite:
The measured variable is in direct proportion to the pressure.
The tank can be filled and emptied.
The values entered for "Empty calib./Full calib.", " Set LRV/Set URV" and the pressures present at
the device must be at least 1% apart. The value will be rejected, and a warning message
displayed, if the values are too close together. Other limit values are not checked, i.e. the values
entered must be appropriate for the sensor and the measuring task for the device to be able to
measure correctly.
