Signal on alarm
Depending on the interface, failure information is displayed as follows:

• Status signal (as per NAMUR Recommendation NE 107)
• Plain text display with remedial action
Linearization
The linearization function of the device allows the conversion of the measured value into any unit of
length, weight, flow or volume. In DeviceCare and FieldCare, there are preprogrammed linearization
tables for volume calculation in vessels.

Other linearization tables of up to 32 value pairs can be entered manually.
