Ambient temperature
range
The following values apply up to a process temperature of +85 °C (+185 °F). At higher
process temperatures, the permitted ambient temperature is reduced.
• Without LCD display:
Standard: –40 to +85 °C (–40 to +185 °F)
• With LCD display: –40 to +85 °C (–40 to +185 °F) with limitations in optical properties
such as display speed and contrast for example. Can be used without limitations up to
–20 to +60 °C (–4 to +140 °F)
If operating outdoors in strong sunlight:
• Mount the device in the shade.
• Avoid direct sunlight, particularly in warm climatic regions.
• Use a weather protection cover (see accessories).
