The manufacturer uses the conformity marking to document the
conformity of the industrial truck with the relevant directives at the
time of placing on the market:
● CE: in the European Union (EU)
● UKCA: in the United Kingdom (UK)
The conformity marking is applied to the nameplate. A declaration
of conformity is issued for the EU and UK markets.
An unauthorised structural change or addition to the industrial
truck can compromise safety, thus invalidating the declaration of
conformity.
