5.1 Emergency Stop

Machine Damage
Incorrect use of emergency stops can cause technical problems or damage to the ma-
chine and related equipment.
u Only use emergency stops in hazardous situations, or when a hazardous situation is
likely to arise.
Example of an Emergency Stop
• In the event of hose rupture or other dangerous situation, activate the emergency
stops to stop the diesel engine and the hydraulic pumps automatically.
5.1.1 Location of Emergency Stop
All machines with cab have at least two emergency stops, one in the cab and one on the
feed.
