Replacing Ink Cartridge

Important:
❏ Finish ink cartridge replacement promptly. Do not leave the printer with the ink cartridge removed.
❏ Do not shake the ink cartridge.
Note:
You can continue printing even after the printer indicates that the ink is low. However, prepare a new ink cartridge as soon as
possible. To ensure you receive premium print quality and to help protect your print head, a variable ink safety reserve
remains in the cartridge when your product indicates to replace the cartridge. The yields quoted for you do not include this
reserve.

Do one of the following.
❏ When prompted to replace ink cartridge
Check the ink cartridge code, and then press the OK button. Select Replace now using the u or d button
and press the OK button.
❏ When replacing ink cartridge before they are expended
1. Enter Setup from the home screen using the l or r button, and then press the OK button.
2. Select Maintenance using the u or d button, and then press the OK button.
3. Select Ink Cartridge Replacement using the u or d button, and then press the OK button.
4. Check the message, and then press the OK button.

Remove the ink cartridge from its package and then remove only the yellow tape.
Do not remove other films or labels.
