Colors are not very vibrant.
Cause What to do
The image was printed on the
wrong side of EPSON Ink Jet
Paper.
Make sure that you are printing on the
coated side of the paper. If necessary,
flip over the paper and try printing
again. If printing has not improved,
clean the print heads as described on
page 8-26.
The Media Type setting does
not match the paper loaded.
Make sure the Media Type setting in
your printer driver matches the type of
media you have loaded, or load media
that matches the Media Type setting.
Color dots are missing in printed graphics or characters.
The printed color image has gaps or faint areas.
Cause What to do
The color print head nozzles
are clogged.
Clean the print head. See ‘‘Cleaning
the Print Head’’ on page 8-26.
Black dots are missing in printed graphics or characters.
The printed black image is light or faint.

The black print head nozzles
are clogged.
