3. Hold down the E load/eject button for three seconds. The
print head moves to the replacement position. The P power
light begins flashing.

Caution:
Do not move the print head by hand. Always use the E
load/eject button to move it. Otherwise you may damage
the printer.
Note:
The printer automatically moves the print head back to its home
(far right) position after 60 seconds if you have not started the
replacement procedure.
4. Lift up the clamp that holds the cartridge you want to replace.
When you do, the cartridge rises partly out of the cartridge
holder. For color ink cartridge replacement, lift up the
larger clamp on the right. For black ink cartridge
replacement, lift up the smaller clamp on the left.
