Installing the ribbon cassette
Be sure to use a ribbon cassette that matches the printer's specifications.
Install the ribbon cassette according to the following procedure.
Turn on the power to the printer.
Check that the RELEASE light is turned on (the printer is in the released
condition).
If the RELEASE light is turned off, press the RELEASE switch.
Turn off the power.
Open the printer cover by slightly pressing the notches on the
top and pulling toward the front.
