3.4 Interrupt Automatic Ergometry Program for Manual Load Control
If necessary, you may interrupt the automatic ergometry program. Press the STOP key. Using the arrow
keys, you can regulate the load you require.
Press control button „STOP“ . Thereby, the manual mode is enabled which is indi-
cated by the flashing display „Load/W“ .
By means of the cursor control button, the load can be increased or decreased with
stepwise of 5 watts.
By pressing the control button „START“, the automatic mode is enabled again and
the ergometry continues with the original parameters.
3.5 Termination of Ergometry
Start of Recovery period :
By pressing control button “END”, the load is immediately reduced to 25 W.
The recovery phase lasts 1 minute.
By pressing the control button “END” during the recovery phase once more, the
recovery period will be stopped immediately.
This is signalled acoustically by a long peep tone. The program is terminated.
3.6 Checking the software version
Upon switching on, the ergometer will automatically run a self-test.
During the self-test (takes approx. 5 sec), press control button „END“. Then, the
installed software version number is shown in display „Load/W“.
By pressing control button „END“ once more, the regular ergometry mode is en-
abled.
