To fit the saddle, unfasten the clamping screws removing them completely from
the thread on the external clamp (Fig. A). Remove both external clamps. Fit
the saddle to the inner clamps (Fig. B). Fit the external clamps and slot the
clamping screws back through. Tighten with 1 - 2 turns (Fig. C). The clamps
must fit the profile of the saddle rails exactly. If this is not the case, for example
with oval rails (carbon rails), never force it. For oval carbon rails (7x9 mm) the
separately available Ergon Flip Head Adapter for Carbon Saddle Rails must be
used.
