Before installation of the seat post
Remove the lock screw at the base of the seat post and place this, together with
the washer on one side. The two leaf springs can now move freely around the
pivots at the saddle clamp end of the post. Open the two leaf springs to form a
‘v’ shape. Coat the areas shown below with the included carbon assembly paste
thinly and evenly (between the leaf springs, and front and back) (Fig. A). Replace
the lock screw and washer and tighten the screw with two turns – the leaf
springs should be able to slide against each other (Fig. B).

Tighten with 2 turns.

Apply Ergon or Dynamic carbon paste.
