ALARM Note: The alarm feature is only available for the DT420 and
DT430 telephones.
When you work alone and at risk, your personal safety is
important. For situations like this, the DT 420 and DT430
telephones are equipped with a red alarm button on top.
When you are in trouble, just press the Alarm button to
summon help by sending a preset message to the alarm
central, which distributes it (requirers an external alarmserver).
PERSONAL ALARM
Activate
Press the red alarm button twice within
2 seconds
The display shows:
You will hear a short, soft tone. An alarm is sent to the alarm
central. After that, the telephone returns to standby mode.
Note: You can always trigger the alarm, even when you are
speaking, editing your settings or while the phone is locked.
Cancel
Press to cancel the personal alarm
