3 Replacing the GPS Receiver Unit
This section contains procedures on how to replace the GPS receiver unit
in the main unit.
For more information on the GPS receiver system, refer to GPS Receiver
System for RBS 6000 User Guide.
3.1 Removing the GPS Receiver Unit
To remove the GPS receiver unit, perform the following procedure:
1. Perform Step 6 to Step 12 as described in Section 2.1 on page 7, if
applicable.
2. If there are cables connected to the shield terminal, loosen the three captive
screws holding the shield terminal in place using a T10 Torx screwdriver.

3. Loosen the five captive screws holding the GPS cover in place using a T10
Torx screwdriver. Remove the GPS cover.
