7. Continue to follow the prompts on your display.
8. If you are near your TV, you can test the signal. The IR window on your
VT must be facing in the general direction of your TV. Select the Test
Signal key
in IR SETUP MENU on your
VT.
9. If your TV turns on and off, the VT has learned the command. If not,
repeat these steps.
Your TV POWER command is now customized and will work from the
REMOTES page in Essence.
Repeat these steps for each TV function, or any remotely controlled device
and function, that you want your communication aid to learn.
