Location
To increase your device location’s accuracy tap “More Options” and enable
one or both of the following:
● Wi-Fi Scanning: Allows apps to scan for nearby Wi-Fi networks, even
when Wi-Fi is disabled.
● Bluetooth Scanning: Allows apps to scan for nearby Bluetooth
devices, even when Bluetooth is disabled.
Recent Location Requests:
You can review which apps have recently requested your device’s location by
doing the following:
● From a Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom to open the App
Drawer and open the Settings app.
● Scroll down and tap “Location.”
● Tap on an app to view settings and information.
Location Services:
Google Location History collects and uses your most recent location data to
improve your experience with applicable apps such as Google Maps. This
information can be seen by doing the following:
● From a Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom to open the App
Drawer and open the Settings app.
● Scroll down and tap “Location.”
● Switch Location toggle to “on.”
● Tap Google Location History.
