Using the CMDN Configuration Program
Overview
The CMDN configuration program is used to configure the annunciator
operating mode as: Class A or B IRC-3 (FCC/PCPU) data line mode;
Class A or B FCC mode; or Class B LSS4 mode.
For each operating mode, the configuration of one or more
annunciators is a three phase process:
Phase 1 (the "Parameter Entry for Entire Project” screen) configures
the overall life safety remote annunciator network;
Phase 2 (the "Parameter Entry for Selected Display" screen)
configures an individual annunciator;
Phase 3 (the "Message Entry/Editing for Selected Display" screen)
enters and edits individual annunciator messages.
Copies of the LSRA worksheets at the end of this document should be
filled-in to assist you in rapidly entering annunciator information.
