6.9 [Heating pipeline] function block
Parameters to be set
Set or check the following parameters.
Detailed descriptions of the parameters are provided
below.
Explanation of [MixValve runtime]
This parameter sets the running time for the mixing
valve actuator, the time needed to turn it from the
closed to the fully open position.
Set the running time according to the information
on the mixing valve actuator's type plate.
Explanation of [Difference warning]
This will determine the difference of the current flow
temperature to the required temperature. If this
difference is exceeded for the set duration [Duration
until warning], a warning will be output on the screen.
Example:
[Required temperature] = 70 °C
[Difference warning] = 10 °C
[Duration until warning] = 5 minutes
=> If the flow temperature is below 60 °C for more than
5 minutes a warning will be output.
No warning swill be output if the setting is [0 °C].
Explanation of [Duration until warning]
This will determine the duration for exceeding the set
difference [Difference warning] between the current
flow temperature and the required temperature. If this
difference is exceeded for the set duration, a warning
will be output on the screen.
Example:
[Required temperature] = 70 °C
[Difference warning] = 10 °C
[Duration until warning] = 5 minutes
=> If the flow temperature is below 60 °C for more than
5 minutes a warning will be output.
No warning is output if the setting is [0 seconds].
Explanation of [Flow max]
This parameter is used to set the maximum flow
temperature for the heating pipeline.
Explanation of [Frost protection]
This parameter is used to set the freeze protection limit
for the heating pipeline.
If the outside temperature falls below this value, the
pipe pump will be switched on. It will remain in
operation until the outside temperature is at least 2 °C
higher than the [Frost protection] temperature setting.
The factory setting for frost protection is -20 °C
outside temperature (disabled).
Explanation of [Start if aux.boiler active]
Optional: only for extra oil or gas auxiliary boiler that
can charge the accumulator tank simultaneously with
the heating pipeline.
This parameter is used to specify whether the auxiliary
boiler and the heating pipeline can be in operation si-
multaneously. With the [No] setting, the control system
switches the heating pipeline off as soon as the
auxiliary boiler supplies heat to the accumulator tank.
With the [Yes] setting, the auxiliary boiler and the
heating pipeline can be in operation simultaneously.
