Tighten the harnesses by pulling on the harness
straps from the back of the harness adjusters.
OR
To tighten the harness straps on an Embrace with
A-Lock, pull the harness adjuster strap on front
of the restraint, as shown.
Push the release button
and pull the chest clip
apart.
Press the red buckle
release , and remove
the buckle tongues.

Removing the Child from the Carrier
To loosen the harness
straps on an Embrace with
A-Lock, press the harness
release button while
pulling upward on the
harness straps .

To loosen the harness straps, squeeze the harness
adjusters while pulling on the straps from the
front of the seat.

OR
Align the two sides of the
chest clip and snap
them together. The chest
clip must be positioned at
armpit level.
The harness straps must be
snug against the child.
A snug strap should not
allow any slack. It lies in
a relatively straight line
without sagging. It does
not press on the child’s flesh
or push the child’s body
into an unnatural position.
Check the harness straps
near the shoulders for slack
and adjust as needed.
