2.5 Control specification
All Evinox satellites are equipped with a
regulation system for heating and DHW
production control. The regulation strategy
foresees different applications: radiators,
fancoils, underfloor heating, and can be
configured to meet the needs of different
applications.
2.5.1 Heating
When the room temperature Ta drops below the set point Ts:
Pump (7) ON – Valve (10) OFF for 90 sec
Calculation of water supply temperature Tmc (climatic control)
Valve (10) ON to regulate S4 according to Tmc
Control of primary flow lower than max allowed rate (Qmax)
Pump control to keep the set value S4-S5 (priority con S4 control)
Pump (7) + Valve (10) OFF when Ta>Ts+DTs (DTs = 0,5 – 1,5 °C)
Pump (7) + Valve (10) OFF when S4>Tmmax (UFH = 45 – 55 °C)
2.5.2 DHW production
When S3 drops below a set value (30-40 °C):
Pump (7) – Valve (10) OFF
Calculation of DHW supply temperature Tmacs (comfort or economy)
Valve (12) ON to regulate S3 according to Tmacs
Control of primary flow lower than max allowed rate (Qmax)
Valve (12) OFF when S3>Tmacs+DTs (DTs = 3 – 7 °C) for more than 60 sec
It is also possible to provide heating and DWH production in the case the primary water
flow required to satisfy the DHW demand is lower than Qmax.
2.5.3 Primary flow rate balancing
It is possible to set a max allowed value for the primary water flow (Qmax). The system
activates the valves (10 and 12) to keep the actual flow rate Q lower than Qmax.
Closure priority on valve 10.
2.5.4 Safety control
In case of pressure switch ON:
Heating and DHW production OFF
Alarm on the room module display
Alarm sent to the Master
