Why does EXFO FPM-300 Measuring Instruments change dB unit or reference power by itself?
If the unit or reference value changes by itself after a while, it is because the unit is receiving a REF signal from the source. Wait a few seconds until power value is received, then retry.

The '20' error code indicates that the wavelength sent from a compatible source emitting in Auto mode is not available on your power meter. To resolve this, change the source wavelength or switch the source to CW.
