4.Graduallytipthebagforwardtoemptythe
clippings.
5.Toinstallthebag,refertothesectionon
InstallingtheGrassBag.

CuttingGrass
Grassgrowsatdifferentratesatdifferenttimes
oftheyear.Inthesummerheat,itisbesttocut
grassatthe21/2inch(64mm),3inch(76mm),
or31/2inch(90mm)cuttingheightsettings.Cut
onlyaboutathirdofthegrassbladeatatime.Do
Notcutbelowthe21/2inch(64mm)setting
unlessthegrassissparseoritislatefallwhen
grassgrowthbeginstoslowdown.
Whencuttinggrassover6inches(15cm)tall,
rstmowatthehighestcuttingheightsettingand
walkslower;thenmowagainatalowersettingfor
thebestlawnappearance.Ifthegrassistoolong
andthegrassclumpontopofthelawn,thelawn
mowermayplugandcausetheenginetostall.
