thecapclockwiseuntilitistight.
12.Wipeupanyspilledoil.
13.Connectthewiretothesparkplug.
14.Recycletheusedoilaccordingtolocalcodes.

2.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartsto
stop.
3.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplug.

mayleakoutasyouremovethelter.
6.Removetheoillter.
7.Useyourngertocoatthegasketonthenew
lterwithcleanExmark4–CyclePremiumEngine
oil(seeFigure26).

1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop.
2.Removethebeltcovertothelawnmowerhousing.
3.Checkthebeltforcracks,frayededges,burn
marksoranyotherdamage.
4.Replacethedamagedbelt.

1.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartsto
stop.
2.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplug(see
Figure8andFigure9).
3.Cleanaroundthesparkplug.
4.Removethesparkplugfromthecylinderhead.
Note:Replaceacracked,fouled,ordirtyspark
plug.DoNotcleantheelectrodesbecausegrit
enteringthecylindercandamagetheengine.
5.Setthegapontheplugto0.030inch(0.76mm)
