Adjustwheneveranewbladebrakecableassemblyis
installedorifthebladecontrollockleverdoesnot
operateproperly.
1.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartsto
stop.
2.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplug.
3.Removethebeltcoverbypullingupwardonthe
backofthecovertounsnapthefrontandback
covertabs(seeFigure28).Removeanydebris
underthecover.
4.Loosenthecableclampscrewuntilthecable
conduitslides(seeFigure30).

6.Tightenthescrewtolocktheadjustmentinplace.

9.Checktheoperationofthebladecontrollock
lever(seeFigure10).Thelevermustresetitself
tolockoutthebladecontrolbail.Ifitdoesnot,
repeatsteps4through8.
