2.Cleanoffanyoil,debris,orgrassbuild-uponthe
machineandcuttingdeck,especiallyunderdeck
beltshields,aroundthefueltank,aroundengine
andexhaustarea.
Important:Youcanwashthemachinewith
milddetergentandwater.Donotpressure
washthemachine.Avoidexcessiveuseof
water,especiallynearthecontrolpanel,under
theseat,aroundtheengine,hydraulicpumps,
andmotors.

CAUTION
Excessivedebrisaroundenginecoolingair
intakeandexhaustsystemareacancauseengine,
exhaustarea,andhydraulicsystemtooverheat
whichcancreatearehazard.
Cleanalldebrisfromengineandexhaustsystem
area.
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Cleanalldebrisfromrotatingengineairintake
screen,aroundengineshrouding,andexhaust
systemarea.
3.Wipeupanyexcessivegreaseoroilaroundthe
engineandexhaustsystemarea.
RemoveEngineShroudsand
CleanCoolingFins
ServiceInterval:Every100hours
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Removecoolingshroudsfromengineandclean
coolingns.Alsocleandust,dirtandoilfrom
externalsurfacesofenginewhichcancause
inadequatecooling.
3.Makesurecoolingshroudsarereinstalled.
Operatingtheenginewithoutcoolingshroudswill
causeenginedamageduetooverheating.
CleanHydroFanCooling
Guards,HydroCoolingFins,
andFan
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
Removingdebrisfromthehydrofancoolingguards,
hydrocoolingns,andfanwillallowthehydro
systemtoruncoolerandimprovethelifeofthe
hydrosystem.
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Slideseatallthewayback,thenlifttheseatto
accesstheLHandRHhydrodrivearea.
3.Removeaccumulateddebrisfromthehydrofan
coolingguards,hydrocoolingns,andfan.
CleanGrassBuild-UpUnder
Deck

1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Raisedecktothetransport(51/2inch(14cm)
cuttingheight)position.Liftthefrontofunit
andsupportunitusingjackstandsorequivalent
support.
3.Cleanoutanygrassbuild-upfromundersideof
deckandindischargedeector.
