ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
CAUTION
Ifsafetyinterlockswitchesaredisconnected
ordamagedthemachinecouldoperate
unexpectedlycausingpersonalinjury.
•Donottamperwiththeinterlockswitches.
•Checktheoperationoftheinterlockswitches
dailyandreplaceanydamagedswitches
beforeoperatingthemachine.
UnderstandingtheSafetyInterlockSystem
Thesafetyinterlocksystemisdesignedtoprevent
themowerbladesfromrotating;unlessatleastone
oftheOPCleversisengagedandthebladecontrol
switch(PTO)ispulledon.
Thesafetyinterlocksystemisdesignedtostopthe
mowerbladesifyoureleasebothOPClevers.
Note:Parkbrakemustbedisengagedbeforethe
speedcontrolleverismovedoutofneutralorengine
willkill.
CheckingtheSafetyInterlockSystem
1.Starttheengine.
2.Engagetheparkingbrake.
3.MoveeitherOPClevertotheoperatingposition
andpushthespeedcontrolleverforward.
Theengineshouldinitiateshutdownafter
momentarypause.
4.Starttheengineandreleasetheparkingbrake.
5.MoveeitherOPClevertotheoperatingposition.
6.ContinueholdingtheeitherOPCleverinthe
operatingpositionandpullupontheblade
