1.2 Mains Filters
It is recomended to insert a mains filter at each axis.
Recommended EMC filters
To comply with the limits based on IEC/EN 61800-3 second environment (C2) the drive and
motor must be installed with an EMC/RFI filter.
Recommended filters are:
MANDATORY.
In order to comply with European Directive 2014/35/EU on Low Voltage (LVD) and 2014/30/EU
on ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC), it is mandatory to insert a mains filter in the system.
IMPORTANT NOTE. It is the user's responsibility to install a mains filter for the QC-CD
single compact drive and another filter for the entire BCS3D system, instead of the
recommended one filter per unit. Use the 'MAIN FILTER' filters available from the FAGOR
catalog and select the filter with sufficient rated current to supply the sum of the rated
currents of all the equipment connected to it. See example in ANNEX A1 and MAINS
FILTERS technical data in the ‘man_qc_pds_hard.pdf’ manual.
