Remote modules may be used to have an additional number of digital and analog inputs and
outputs (remote I/O) that placed in the cabinet, permit controlling various devices of the
machine.
Each RIOR module offers the following elements.
Each RIOR module constitutes a node inside the CAN bus, which may have up to 32 nodes,
including the central unit and the keyboards. When the CNC works with CANopen bus, this
bus lets combine in the bus groups (nodes) formed by the RIO5, RIOW and RIOR series
modules; modules of different series cannot be combined in the same group. The maximum
number of inputs and outputs available at the CANopen bus is the following.
