Safety functions
The Power Drive System, in general
See the precautions to keep in mind regarding the design and installation in
the
SAFETY CONDITIONS section in this manual.
DANGER.
The activation of the safety function STO neither isolates the mains nor
discharges the power DC BUS.
Opening the main external contactor - KM1 isolates the system from
mains, but the DC BUS is still alive for the time period indicated on the
front plate of the unit.
