SECTION 8. MAINTENANCE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
CAGE SAFETY LOCK
To perform maintenance that requires keeping the cage lifted up, follow these instructions for
positioning the safety locking pin supplied with the machine.
The locking pin is found near the level bubbles in the base of the machine and is secured to the
machine with a knob.
CAUTION
TWO OPERATORS ARE REQUIRED TO CARRY OUT THIS PROCEDURE SAFELY
1. Remove the locking pin from inside the machine base by unscrewing the knob;
2. Lift the basket until the slot for inserting the locking pin appears in the column, as shown in
the picture, and safely descend from it using a ladder or another suitable support;
