4. Pressurize the SDE5−... with the second teach pressure (TP2). In this way the
switch element function is also defined (see instruction above).
5. Press the EDIT button 1 until the LED stops flashing.
When the button is released, the SDE5−... saves the second value. The relation
ship between teach pressure, switching pressure and hysteresis
is shown in
the table above. For mode 1 the switching pressure is formed from the average
value of both teach pressures SP = 1/2 (TP1 + TP2).
S Carry out a test run with various pressures to ascertain whether the SDE5−...
switches as desired.
7 Operation
Warning
High pressure amplitudes and high pulse frequencies can heat the SDE5−... up
to over +80 °C (risk of injury).
S Make sure that the SDE5−... does not heat up more than the permitted ambi
ent temperature (see chapter Technical specifications").
Otherwise the materials of the SDE5−... may be damaged (e.g. seals).
8 Care and maintenance
Cleaning
S Switch off the operating voltage.
If required:
S Clean the SDE5−... with a soft cloth.
The following cleaning agents are permitted:
soap suds (max. +60 °C)
all non−abrasive agents.
