Instructions for operation
CAUTION:
To avoid damage by moving into fixed stops without
cushioning:
- Carry out commissioning again after modifying the fixed
stops, adjusting the DIL switches or replacing components
- use only the permitted mass load.
Control the slide as indicated in the following table
Input/output Description
Output A Supplies a 1-signal when slide is in end position A
(potentiometer connection)
Output B Supplies a 1-signal when slide is in end position B
(opposite potentiometer connection)
Input B 1-Signal (min. 20 ms) sends command to move to B
(if there is an 0-signal at input A)
Input A 1-Signal (min. 20 ms) sends command to move to A
(if there is an 0-signal at input B)
Change of direction is possible at any time during positioning.
The positioning behaviour improves automatically after
approximately 10 to 20 strokes (adaption). Optimize the
positioning behaviour as follows:
• Check the system structure; compressed air reservoir during
fluctuations in pressure; modify the supply pressure
• Modify the DIL switch setting accordingly
• If necessary, fit restrictors in the exhaust tubing of the
MPYE-5-... in order to reduce the speed.
