5. DISASSEMBLING THE BRUSH (MX 50 BT VERSIONS )
These models feature an automatic brush release system so that the operator does not need to perform
awkward operations. Proceed as follows:
1. keep the brush head slightly up, using the lever (1)
2. Turn the key (1) to position 1
3. Press the brush release button ( 2 )
4. keeping the release button pressed, push the "man present" lever (3) for a moment then release it; the
brush will begin moving for a moment, then fall beneath the brush head
WARNING: during this operation, check there are no people or objects near the
brush.
6. DISASSEMBLING THE BRUSH (BRUSH HEAD WITH DOUBLE BRUSH)
1. Turn the key to position "0"
2. raise the brush head, using the lever
3. with the brush head up, rotate the brush until it comes out of the brush-holder plate seat, as shown in
the figure. The figure shows the rotation direction to release the right-hand brush; for the left-hand one,
rotate in the opposite direction
ATTENTION: Before performing any maintenance, remove the keys from the
panel and disconnect the battery connector of the machine.
WARNING: this operation must be carried out wearing gloves to protect against
contact with dangerous solutions.
7. DISASSEMBLING THE BRUSH (BRUSH HEADS WITH CYLINDRICAL BRUSHES - MX
MACHINES)
To remove the brushes:
1. Turn the key to position "0"
2. apply the brake to the machine, using the side lever (1)
ATTENTION: Before performing any maintenance, remove the keys from the
panel and disconnect the battery connector of the machine.
