Why does my FireAngel ST-230 Smoke Alarm keep chirping?
    • A
      Amanda ButlerAug 9, 2025
Your FireAngel Smoke Alarm might be chirping due to a low battery. If the alarm chirps approximately every 45 seconds and the amber LED is flashing, it indicates a low battery, and the unit should be replaced within 30 days. Alternatively, if the alarm chirps once every 4 hours, it means another alarm in the network has a low battery. Find and replace that alarm as soon as possible, and definitely within 30 days.

What to do if the amber LED is flashing and my FireAngel ST-230 Smoke Alarm is chirping?
    • C
      Christopher OlsonAug 14, 2025
If the amber LED is flashing at the same time as the chirping sound, it means that the battery is low and your FireAngel Smoke Alarm should be replaced as soon as possible. If the amber LED is flashing at a different time than the chirping sound, this indicates a fault and the alarm should be replaced as soon as possible. If the amber LED is double flashing along with the chirping, it indicates the wireless module has a low battery or is faulty, and the alarm should be replaced as soon as possible.

Why won't other interlinked FireAngel ST-230 units silence when one is silenced?
    • M
      Michael GonzalezAug 19, 2025
If interlinked FireAngel Smoke Alarm units have sensed smoke or heat, they can’t be silenced remotely. If one or more units remain in alarm, all other interlinked units will emit their audible warning again within 4 minutes. Vacate the property if there is a fire hazard.

    • M
      Matthew RodriguezAug 25, 2025
First, make sure you push the center of the test button firmly. If you are 'learning-in' the alarm and it doesn't test, repeat the process. If it still fails, contact Technical Support.
