      Meghan BellAug 13, 2025
If your FireAngel smoke alarm doesn't sound during testing, ensure you allow a few seconds for the alarm to settle, especially after initial activation or battery replacement. Also, make sure you firmly push the center of the test button. If the unit has been silenced and is in low sensitivity mode, wait 15 minutes before trying again. If the alarm was recently installed and still fails the self-test, contacting Technical Support is advisable.

      Randall StarkAug 25, 2025
If the silence chirp function doesn't work when you press the test button on your FireAngel Smoke Alarm, and the red LED flashes separately from the chirp, this indicates a fault. In this case, or if the alarm is within its warranty period, contact Technical Support. Otherwise, replace the alarm immediately.
