Service - Warranty
(8) Throughout the emissions warranty period de f ined in Subsection (b)(2), FIRMAN will main tain a supply of warranted
parts sufficient to meet the e)(pected demand for such parts.
(9) Any replacement pa rt may be used in the performa nee of any warranty main t enance or repairs and must be provided without
charge to the owner. Such use will not reduce the warranty obligations of the manufacturer.
(10) Add-on or modified parts that are not exempted by the Air Resources Board may not be used. The use of any non-exempted
add-on or modified parts by the ultimate purchaser will be grounds ford isallowing a warranty claim.
The manufac t urer will not be liable to warrant failures of warranted parts caused by the use of a non-e)(empted add- on or modified
part.
PARTS COVERED BY WARRANTY
Listed below are the parts {if equipped) covered by the Federal and California Emission Control System Warranty,
1.lgnition system including:
- Spark plug
- I gnition coil
2. Fuel metering system:
- Fuel tank
- Fuel cap
- fuel lines (for liquid fuel and fuel vapors) and
related fittings/damps
- Fuel regulator, carburetor and internal parts.
3. Catalytic muffler assembly including:
- Exhaust manifold
- Catalytic conver t er
- Muffler gasket
-pulse valve

4. Air induction system including:
- lnta ke pipe/manifold
- Air cleaner
5. Crankcase breather assembly including:
- Bre ather connection tu be
6. Fuel tank evaporative emission control system including:
- Purge valves
- Carbon canist er
- Vapor hoses and fitting/damps
This Emission Control System Warranty sha II not cover any of the following:
(a} Consequential damages such as loss oftime, inconvenience , loss of use of the engine or equipment, etc.
(b) Diagnosis and inspection fees that do not result in eligible warranty service being performed.
