COUNTERBALANCE ADJUSTMENT
Both front and rear arms adjust to meet the operator’s preference
o To retract completely to vertical (closed) position; or
o To maintain angular (open) position.
Note: The adjusters are between the plates in either location
Turn the handles to adjust the cylinder strength. The GH-60 & GHM-60 have no bottom handle; use a
wrench to turn the adjusting bolt.
o Moving the adjuster downward will increase the retraction in the rear arm and increase the
extension on the front arm.
o Moving the adjuster upward will decrease the retraction in the rear arm and decrease the
extension on the front arm.
Note: Extending the arms will make it easier to turn the adjuster handles.
