Clean the Air Filter
Caution
Damage caused by overheating can occur if the area around the
fan is restricted, the intake air is too warm, or the air filter
becomes clogged.
To prevent Product damage, make sure that the filter is
completely dry before reinstallation.
The air filter must be removed and cleaned at least every 30 days, or more
frequently if the Product is operated in a dusty environment. The air filter is
accessible from the rear panel.
To clean the air filter, refer to Figure 21:
1. Disconnect line power.
2. Unscrew the knurled screw at the top of the air filter and pull the filter retainer
downwards (it is hinged at the bottom) to remove the filter.
3. To clean the filter, wash it in soapy water. Rinse and dry it thoroughly.
4. Reinstall the filter and the knurled screw.
