3. Set the reference divider to 0.1 V and the mode switch to OPERATE.
4. Set the 8508A to dc V, 200 mV range, 7 digits, filter IN and "FAST" mode.
Make sure the 8508A is on internal guard (external guard not selected).
5. Wait for the reading to settle and then push the Zero Rng button to zero the
meter.
6. Remove the two shorts from the reference divider and connect the 732B 10 V
Reference Standard and the 5730A as shown in Figure 3-4.
