To avoid over dry the fish and meat, the temperature should not be adjusted to the
highest. To make the meat juicy on the outside, use the temperature (200°C-220°C)
for a while and then lower the temperature. The larger the meat, the lower the
temperature and the longer the time required.
8.2 Other cooking suggestions
Temperature
1. Generally select the cooking ingredients with reference to the temperatures in the
table. If the temperature is too high, the meat may be charred on the outside. When using
the fan enhancement and automatic baking function, the selected temperature should be
about 20°C lower than that of conventional heating. For the meat over 3kg, select the
baking temperature about 10°C lower than that given in the reference table.
Low-temperature baking may take a little longer, but baking will be more uniform
2. When baking on the grill, the temperature setting should be about 10°C lower than
that when baking in the baking tray.
Time
To check whether the cake is well baked, insert a bamboo stick into the center of the cake
and then pull out. If the bamboo stick is clean and does not stick to any side or shoulder,
the cake is well baked.
Baking tray
1. Fan enhancement, enhance baking, baking trays, general trays, and baking trays
made of heat-resistant materials.
2. Conventional heating: dark metal, enamel, tin or aluminum matte baking tins,
heat-resistant glass or ceramic dinner plates. Avoid using shiny or reflective metal cans,
which may cause uneven browning and sometimes make the cake improperly cooked.
Shelf
Choose the shelf for baking food according to the oven function and the number of baking
trays used. Common hot air baking and traditional baking procedures:
1 baking tray: shelf 2
2 baking trays: shelfs 1+3/2+4
3 baking trays: shelfs 1+3+5
When baking in two or more layers with both a general tray and a baking dish, place the
general tray below the baking tray. You can bake moist biscuits and cakes on two shelves
at most at the same time.
Energy saving tips
1. Take out the accessories that are not needed for cooking in the oven cavity.
2. Preheat the oven only when preheating is required in the recipe or cooking reference
table.
3. Do not open the door during cooking.
4. In general, if a temperature range is given, it is better to choose a lower temperature
within the range and check the food after the given minimum time.
