1. To initiate a manual defrost cycle, push
and hold the down arrow button on
the display for 5 seconds, until digital
display reads: dEF
2. The compressor will shut off and the
evaporator heater coil will come on to
melt any excess ice buildup. At the end
of the manual defrost cycle, the heater
will shut off, the compressor will start and the display will
return to the actual freezer compartment temperature.
4 Loading the Freezer
The High Capacity Meat Freezer is
designed to provide more cubic feet of
compartment storage space and three
full shelves for boxed product,
including:
A fixed position wire top shelf,
which is typically used for open
boxes of frozen product that can
be grabbed through the roll-back,
quick-access top door
A middle wire shelf that has three
height positions to adjust for
different box or case heights
A raised solid stainless steel bottom
shelf designed to ensure good air
circulation in the freezer
compartment.
To change middle shelf position, pull
shelf forward, lift one side of shelf off the
three support studs. Reposition desired
